SB Tactical on ATF: ‘Largest Firearms Registration Scheme in US History’

SB Tactical remains the leader in pistol stabilizing braces. The company issued a statement recently, taking the ATF head on after its recent Notice of Proposed Rule Making. The ATF rule change would overnight make felons of PSB owners, comprising the largest registration move in gun control history.

SB Tactical Sounds Off on Proposed ATF Rule Change

The Congressional Research Service estimates around 10 and 40 million PSBs in circulation. The proposed rule change would automatically reclassify the majority of these firearms into SBRs. The entire ATF decision opens a Pandora’s Box of nightmare scenarios for gun owners.

“ATF’s proposal would outlaw the vast majority of pistols sold with Stabilizing Braces, and by ATF’s own admission, would result in more than a billion dollars in damage to the firearms industry and countless American jobs lost,” said Alex Bosco, inventor and founder of SB Tactical. “As the leader in the Pistol Stabilizing Brace industry, we will champion the legal and economic interests of the millions of owners of brace products who are using the device as intended for sport shooting, home protection and to overcome a physical handicap.”

SB Tactical called the proposed rule change “the largest firearms registration scheme in U.S. history,” in a press release. It explained the ATF explicitly prohibited grandfathering in existing braced firearms. Instead, millions of legal firearms–after following previous ATF guidance–now find themselves in legal jeopardy. Either destroy or surrender your firearm to the ATF. Otherwise, pay the $200 tax and register your gun as an SBR.
