Zev Technologies and Winkler Knives have teamed up on an everyday carry, personal defense knife; the collaboration is known as the Zev-Winkler knife.

The Zev-Winkler knife comes with a 4 1/4-inch blade. The blade is made from 80CrV2 steel and coated in black oxide. This knife also features a sculpted G10 curved handle “that indexes perfectly in the hand,” the press release says. Furthermore, the top of the blade sports thumb index file work that Zev claims ensures a “perfect grip every time.”
The Zev influence in this knife can be seen in its red and black handle, in addition to its slashes cut in the blade. The Kydex sheath in red and black also sports signature Zev slashes. Meanwhile, the belt clip can be mounted either vertically or horizontally for left or right-hand draw, giving you plenty of carry options.
“Daniel Winkler and Jason Knight worked hard to bring our vision to life and we could not be happier with how this project turned out. They truly brought the Zev philosophy of ‘Design. Feel. Performance.’ to every aspect of this knife. This is the first release of many new projects that Zev currently has in the works,” said Dave Roberts, Zev’s VP of marketing.
The Zev-Winkler knife is a limited run of 100. The first 50 are available right now, while the next 50 will be released within the next month and a half. MSRP:Â $375.
