According to Sig’s press release, these Elite Performance Ammunition shell cases are engineered to exacting tolerances out of the company’s ammunition facility in Jacksonville, Ark. The “geometric consistency” of each case ensures the primer is held tightly in its pocket. In addition, flash holes are precise, with no burrs. Meanwhile, the “superior metallurgical properties” of these cases allows for repeated reloading, Sig claims.

“Each brass case undergoes rigorous in-line and post production quality assurance testing to ensure a flawless casing,” said Brad Criner, the senior director of brand management and business development for Sig ammunition. “The result is unparalleled durability and dependability.”

Right now Sig is offering pistol cases, primed or unprimed, in bags of 100 in ,380 Auto; 9mm Luger; .357 SIG; .38 Spl; .357 Mag; .40 S&W; 10mm; and .45 Auto. Furthermore, unprimed rifle component cases are available in bags of 50 in .223 Rem; .22-250 Rem; .243 Win; .300 BLK; .300 Win; .308 Win Mag; and 6.5 Creedmoor. The company says .270 Win. and .30-06 Springfield are coming soon.

Suggested retail for the pistol brass begins at $20.95 for unprimed 9mm Luger and goes up to $33.95 for primed .357 SIG, .357 Mag and .45 ACP. The rifle brass pricing ranges from $17.95 for unprimed .300 BLK up to $35.95 for unprimed .223 Rem.
