Every year, members of the firearm industry travel to Las Vegas to attend the SHOT Show. SHOT has become the biggest show in the industry, with 60,000 attendees each year. The show was designed for customers and manufacturers to meet up for business. It has also become an opportunity to release new products. If you are a firearms enthusiast, I am sure your social media feeds have recently exploded with “coming soon” products. As a long-time attendee of the show, I have scored a few early looks at what will be new at the show this year. I have tried to focus on items that may not always get front-page coverage. HM Defense – HM50B2 Rifle -The HM50B2 is a 50 BMG precision bolt action rifle. Girsan Witness2311 Match X-The Witness2311 Match uses a 5″ bull barrel with the same bushingless system. It has the dust cover and accessory rail extending to the muzzle. It is chambered in 9 mm Luger and is competition-ready. The trigger is tuned for a 4.5-lb. pull. The rear sight is fully adjustable or can be removed to mount optics with an RMSc footprint.
