5.11 Tactical Unveils New Concealed-Carry Clothing

For 2015, 5.11 Tactical upgraded its high-quality concealed-carry clothing line to provide reliable, fast-access options to those who need to travel armed. By combining durable fabrics with covert pocket placement, 5.11 Tactical has designed some of the most reliable CCW clothing on the market. Some of this year’s most exciting offerings included the 5.11 Stryke Shirt, the 5.11 Stryke Shorts and the soon-to-be-released 5.11 Apex Pants.

The 5.11 Stryke Shirt is constructed from Flex-Tac mechanical stretch fabric, providing durability and comfort while a Teflon treatment repels stains and light precipitation from penetrating the fabric. The company’s Hidden Document Product provides secure covert storage. Made from the same Flex-Tac material, 5.11 Tactical Stryke Shorts feature 12 pockets for maximum on-the-go storage.

The Covert Flex Shirt employs a similar design as the Stryke Shirt, including the Hidden Document Pocket, but also employs 5.11’s RapidDraw placket that allows fast access to a shouldered sidearm. Faux buttons hide breakaway snaps that give any operator the edge during a draw from concealment.

In fall 2015, 5.11 Tactical will also begin selling its Apex Pant design. These tactical pants will be made from Flex-Tac fabric and feature reinforced, canted pockets as well as enough storage space to hold six AR magazines.
