California-based manufacturer Advantage Arms has released their .22 LR conversion kit for the Glock pistol.

As their website notes, this kit comes with a ton of great features, including adjustable sights which are removable Glock style sights. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. In addition, the slide will lock open after the last round in the magazine has been fired. Another exciting feature is the internal firing pin safety. Since Glock has an internal firing pin safety in their guns, Advantage Arms decided to include it in their conversion kit. It is designed to eliminate accidental discharges if the firearm is dropped by the end user. All aluminum parts of this kit are anodized Per Mil-A-8625 with a matte black finish. The steel parts are heat treated with a Black Oxide Finish. The barrel is made from heat treated 416 Stainless Steel.

Another exciting feature of the Advantage Arms .22 LR conversion kit is the ten-second installation. No modifications to the Glock pistol are necessary. The user simply removes the Glock magazine and slide, and slides in the Advantage Arms slide onto the frame until it engages with the slide lock. The user then checks to make sure the slide lock is in its most upward position before inserting the conversion magazine.
