This AGI instructor-led course consists of approximately 15 hours of lecture and 25 hours of hands-on experience and covers the design, function and repair of the Ruger 10/22 and .22 Auto Pistol. Brooks will teach all phases of repair, functionality and reliability of the Ruger 10/22 and .22 Auto Pistol, including trigger jobs. The course does not cover any “custom” work.
Each student will need to bring a suitable Ruger 10/22 and .22 Auto Pistol, a hammer, a set of punches, screwdrivers, stones, lubricant, needle files and at least one mill or mill bastard file 6 inches long or longer, eye protection, dial caliper and a set of allen wrenches.
A graduate of the gunsmithing program at Lassen College, studying under Master Instructor Robert Dunlap, Brooks now works full time for Dunlap and continues his journey studying under the master. Brooks is well-known for being a great design, function and repair gunsmith and has been an AGI Instructor for over 15 years.
