Antimatter Scopeswitch 2.0 – From Flux Defense

When it comes to running your rifle in serious situations, control is key. That means you need to maintain your firing grip as much as possible. One issue is the use of LPVO optics. These are useful tools because they provide the speed of a red dot while also offering magnification when needed. The challenge has been the need to use our support side hand to turn the magnification ring. In doing so, we must let go of our forward grip and, for a moment, be out of the fight. The team at Flux Defense saw this issue and went into their secret lab. The result is a solution we have been looking for. The Antimatter Scopeswitch 2.0.

Antimatter Scopeswitch 2.0 – Solving LPVO Magnification

The Antimatter Scopeswitch 2.0 is the latest evolution in scope control technology. Designed for armed professionals, hunters, and competitive shooters alike, the Scopeswitch 2.0 offers a seamless way to control magnification while maintaining full engagement with your target.

The system is unique because it allows you to increase the magnification on your LPVO without taking your support side hand off the gun or your eyes off the target. Flux Defense has designed a system of well-machined cables and pulleys that connect a slider on the front of your rifle to the magnification ring. Once installed, the slider will sit on top of your handguard where your normal grip would be. To increase magnification, simply slide the lever back without removing your hand or changing your eye position. It is ridiculously fast and efficient.

Built for Performace

“Every product here at Flux Defense has a pure focus: making it faster, lighter, and stronger. Most users rarely utilize the full range of zoom capabilities on their LPVOs. They set their scope to the needed power, use a red dot for close targets, and adjust magnification for longer ranges. The Scopeswitch 2.0 allows you to have a faster, positive ID on your target and greatly enhance situational awareness. It lets you smoothly and quickly zoom in and out without breaking your grip or losing your focus.”— Arrius Sorbonne, Co-owner of Flux Defense.

Flux Defense was kind enough to send a unit out for me to test. The first thing I need to touch on is installation. While not overly difficult, you will need to at least have some basic experience in working on your rifle. If you think it may be out of your comfort zone, a gunsmith can easily mount the device. It involves mounting the optic on their special mount, then installing the lever and cables. It is worth noting that Flux Defense has an excellent installation video on the site as well.

Check Tension

I selected the Trijicon Credo 1-8×28 as the LPVO to mount. This was a good fit, and mounting was easy. One item Flux addresses is the tension of the magnification ring. The firmer it is to turn with your fingers, the firmer it will be using the slider. Flux Defense has a list of optics on their site and the corresponding tension of the magnification ring. I encourage you to check that out before choosing the scope you want to use.
