Apex Tactical Specialties is rolling out a new Flat-Faced Forward Set Trigger Kit for those of you looking to change out the trigger on your Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0.
Designed to reduce trigger travel by 40 percent while offering a crisp trigger break which Apex says is “reminiscent of that in a single action 1911 pistol,” the new Flat-Facd Forward Set trigger Kit works in all current M&P M2.0 models in 9mm, .40S&W and .45ACP, including the newly-released M2.0 Compact pistol.
Included in the trigger kit is an aluminum hard-coat anodized Apex Flat-Faced Forward Set Trigger with a center mounted pivoting safety; Apex Ultimate Striker Block Kit; Apex Forward Set Sear Actuator; Apex Fully Machined 2-Dot Sear and the Apex Forward Set Spring Kit, which features the Duty/Carry Sear, Trigger Return Springs, Heavy Weight Sear and Trigger Return Springs.
Using a combo of Apex springs and factory sear and trigger return springs enables the end user to set the trigger pull weight from a range ideal for duty/carry to a weight for competition.
