Battle Arms Releases AR-15 Fixed Clamp-On Front Sight

New for 2016, Battle Arms has released its AR-15 Fixed Clamp-On Front Sight, designed exclusively for Brownells to allow for the longest sight radius possible.

The idea behind the sight, according to Brownells, was “no more settling for back up sights attached at the far end of the handguard or front sight bases permanently attached at the gas port.”

With the Fixed Front Sight, the user can place the assembly as close the muzzle as possible, with it solely in contact with the barrel. When shooting prone, even free float handguards will flex. If employing iron sights, any front sight attached to the handguard will be affected.

Machined from 7075 T6 aluminum and featuring a matte black anodized finish, the sight clamps onto the barrel via three 6-32 x 3/8-inch socket head screws for maximum clamping force.

Lightening cuts ensure unnecessary weight is not added to the muzzle of the rifle.

The front sight clamps to standard, government profile barrels, which are .750 at the gas block or have similar profiles. It will also attach to outside diameters ranging from .735 inches to .750 inches. Removal of the muzzle device will be necessary for installation.

The AR-15 Fixed Clamp-On Front Sight has an MSRP of $89.99 and is available now.
