AT Armor Releases Rhodesian Army Camo Paint Kit for Carbines

AT Armor, a tactical gear manufacturer out of Fort Worth, Texas, just put out its historically accurate Rhodesian Army Camo paint kit for carbine owners. The selling point here is that the kit, made of modern materials, matches the colors seen on rifles used in the bush wars that occurred in Africa over the last century.

“We spent an exhaustive amount of time researching and matching the colors to those found during the bush wars” AT Armor owner and CEO Mike Martin said in a press release. “This is not a big box store hit and miss paint match – we were demanding about having these colors match up perfectly.”

The Rhodesian Army Camo paint kit consists of a two-ounce bottle of Rhodesian dark green paint; two-ounce bottle of Rhodesian light green; and a one-ounce bottle of flat coat paint. The kit comes with full instructions, as well as three squeeze caps for project use. AT Armor says that “more introverted personalities” may want to use the flat coat paint to decrease the natural shine of the oil base. There’s enough paint here for one carbine. There should also be some left over for touch ups, or a small item like a magazine.

“AT Armor disagrees with any subjugation or separation of free people based on color, creed, or religious belief,” the press release says. “Unfortunately some scholars gravitate toward the historical interest of the bush wars in order to leverage it to further their cause of separatism; this is not our world view. We present this paint kit in iconic RA colors simply as a tribute to all anti-terror and anti-communist forces that fought the good fight.”

AT Armor’s Rhodesian Army Camo paint kit is available for $35.
