We were anxious to see what Armalite had on tap at SHOT Show 2017, and we weren’t disappointed. New for this year, the iconic Geneseo, Illinois-based gun manufacturer is unveiling the SASS MkII in .260 Rem and .308 Win.

An update of the company’s classic AR10 platform, the Armalite SASS MkII sports an 18-inch stainless steel barrel with a 1:8″/1:10″ twist; Magpul MLOK rail system; Timney trigger; and a suppressed/unsuppressed adjustable gas block.
The SASS MkII also features a Magpul PSR stock and a raptor ambidextrous charging handle. This rifle measures 38.3 inches when collapsed and 41.1 inches when it’s extended. No word on the MSRP yet for this bad boy, but expect these to be released in 2017.
