Garrett Lucas
Garrett has a wide variety of interests both in and outside of the shooting industry, and those interests include shooting, photography, videography, writing, prepping, camping, traveling, top-tier cutlery, EDC gear, and anything that's tech-related. His favorite destination is Yellowstone Park and most of his favorite photography locations are in the Southwest including the famous Route 66, Arches National Park, Antelope Canyon, and Monument Valley. Having been introduced to a 12 gauge shotgun at the age of five years by his grandfather as a joke, Garrett has been shooting guns for about 50 years. He spent his youth scouring dumps and other locations with his .22 rifle and Ruger Single-Six and he spent a good amount of his childhood and teen years hunting in the backwoods of West Virginia. Garrett worked in the financial sector for about 15 years before striking out to try something new and more to his personal liking. Since that time, he started his own website reviewing knives and other outdoors gear for a few years and he then moved to writing for the shooting industry the past 15 years. In that time, he has written firearms articles for around 28 different magazines and websites, and he currently has several hundred articles to his credit.
