The Tanker 1911 pays tribute to the men who fought in the steel chariots like the M4 Sherman Tanks of WWII. It honors the brave soldiers that sacrificed and fought on two fronts. The tank crews, often outgunned by German tanks early in the war, helped turn the tide, achieving victory against staggering odds. This pistol honors those sacrifices and bravery.

Each Tanker 1911 slide and frame get the custom treatment from Outlaw Ordnance. Our friends at Outlaw begin with the Army O.D. Green Cerakote finish. The pistol features the iconic white star of the Sherman Tank, engraved on the slide and frame. The “U.S.” logo, engraved on the checkered, wood grips, gives it that martial feel of the time period, yet still provides an elegant, modern touch.
The all-steel GI-style 1911 sports a 5-inch barrel, chambered in .45 ACP. The sights, trigger, grip safety and controls also come in the familiar, classic GI pattern. Like the original Sherman, the Tanker gets built right here in the U.S. It comes with one, seven-round magazine.
