The state of Arizona might pass a new bill which would allow active duty military, as well as honorably discharged veterans to get a concealed carry permit at the age of 19. In Arizona, the current age requirement is 21.
Under the terms of the proposed bill, the person carrying a concealed weapon must have a permit on themselves at all times, ready to be presented to the proper law enforcement officials if they are stopped. Nineteen-year-olds must show proof of active duty service or honorable discharge from the military or national guard.
