Another day, another case where a good guy with a gun saved the day. The latest incident took place early Sunday morning at a bar in East Baltimore.
According to ABC2 News Baltimore, 24-year-old Randy Thomas and an unidentified accomplice entered a bar located in the 4800 block of Erdman Avenue and began robbing multiple patrons at gunpoint.

One of the bar employees — who happened to be armed — told Thomas he was calling the police. At that point, Thomas reportedly reached into the front pocket of his sweatshirt and the employee opened fire, shooting Thomas in the abdomen.

Thomas immediately fled the scene on foot and resurfaced at Johns Hopkins Hospital around 1 a.m. Police described the gunshot wound as “non-life-threatening,” the Baltimore Sun said.

Police continue to investigate the shooting, and Thomas hasn’t yet been charged. The second suspect who accompanied Thomas to the bar remains at large.
