Bark and Bite: Extrema Ratio's Dobermann IV Knife

Italian manufacturer Extrema Ratio delivers some of the toughest knives on the planet.

One such knife, the Dobermann, has been in existence for a long time, but the latest generation of the Dobermann brings an old shape to a new knife realm.

The Dobermann IV represents the evolution of the first and most classic Extrema Ratio model: the so called K1 Dobermann.

The main features of the Dobermann IV are its heavy structure and its extremely flexible use. From hunting to survival environment, as well as camping, military or defensive use, the Dobermann IV has no bounds.

For this reason, Dobermann IV has been developed in two different versions: a tactical and a sporting one.

The Tactical version comes with a black blade and cordura sheath, while the Classic version comes with a satin blade and black leather sheath.

Since 1997, the Dobermann knife has undergone significant changes in its look and design, based on the natural evolution of consumer taste and market trends, while still keeping its shape consistent with the original designs.
