According to the press release, the Mod 0-SOPMOD — designed to be lighter and more durable than the base equipment — boasts a more pronounced cheek weld and delivers a consistent and stable platform without doing away with the snag-free design of the Mod 0 Minimalist variant released a couple of years ago.
Similar to the Mod 0, the Mod 0-SOPMOD features a modular VBOS (Vehicle Borne Operations Sling) tab to secure the sling against the stock when the carbine isn’t in use; two different types of ambidextrous sling mounting options, including QD swivel sockets; a built-in, color-matched rubber butt pad for secure shoulder placement and enhanced durability; and a simple modular design, meaning 6 parts and 1 screw for adaption of future stock options and configurations, BCM says.
With the the Mod 0-SOPMOD, Bravo Company listened to feedback from the end user. They also worked closely with leading tactical and weapons manipulations instructors. It all combines to create something you’re not going to want to miss.
The BCM Mod 0-SOPMOD stock is available at a suggested retail price of $57.95.
