Bear Edge Knives, a Bear & Son Cutlery brand, recently announced the introduction of the new Bear Edge 61128. This is a new pocket knife for the most arduous tasks, presenting stainless steel in both the blade and the handle for exceptional strength and light weight.

The modified drop point 440 stainless-steel blade has a dark gray finish and comes razor-sharp from the factory. It holds its edge well and the finish helps resists rust. The Bear Edge 61128 exhibits a super-smooth action thanks to the ball bearing washers in the blade pivot, making rapid deployment easy with a push of the ambidextrous thumb studs. Because the 61128 was designed to withstand hard use, a framelock was incorporated to ensure the blade stays firmly in place under intense loads yet allows the blade to easily close when the work is finished. Jimping on the top of the blade and handle assists in blade control, according to Bear Edge.
Added durability and strength comes from the stainless steel handles. These feature round edges and a smooth finish for minimal snag points and a comfortable carry. With its strong pocket clip, the Bear Edge 61128 can sit deep and securely in the pocket. A lanyard hole provides additional carry options.
Weighing 3 ounces and measuring a closed length of 3-3/4 inches, the Bear Edge 61128 is suitable for ergonomic carry in any situation. When open, the knife measures 6-1/2 inches with a blade length of 2-1/2 inches.
