VIDEO: Beretta 1301 Tactical Marine Fires 6 Shots in Under 1 Second

Beretta’s 1301 Tactical line is about as popular as it gets when it comes to shotguns. New for 2018, the manufacturer unveiled a number of variants, including the Beretta 1301 Tactical Marine.

We had some serious fun with the 1301 Tactical Marine at the 2018 Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous in Montana. The shotgun is ridiculously fast. How fast? Beretta Product Manager Erik Stern fires six shots in less than one second. We officially timed it at 0.68 seconds. Watch the video above.

Beretta 1301 Tactical Marine Features

There are a number of improvements with the 1301 Tactical Marine. Beretta redesigned the bolt release lever to allow for a more solid function, eliminating the chance of a double feed. The added aluminum Picatinny rail on the receiver allows for heavier optics.

Beretta also threaded the barrel for Optima Bore HP Chokes, which allows shooters to use any of Beretta’s 12-gauge OBHP chokes to get the most performance out of the shotgun.

The Marine edition features a high visibility, corrosion resistant finish and Aqua-Tech coating ideal for maritime environments. For more information, please visit Beretta.com.
