Beretta just launched its newest semi-automatic shotgun line, the A300 Ultima. The Beretta A300 Ultima incorporates features from the A300 line, updated with enlarged controls, an improved receiver, and Beretta’s proprietary Kick-Off recoil reduction system.
Beretta A300 Ultima Details
“The new A300 Ultima offers a unique opportunity for shooters to experience Beretta quality with unparalleled features set at an incomparable price,” said Erik Stern, Tactical and Pro-Shop Product Manager, Beretta. “Joining the venerable A300 series, we are excited to bring this new line to market in both 12 and 20-gauge configurations for the first time in our history – offering consumers a wide variety of options both in terms of aesthetics and function as well as expanding our offerings to the 20-gauge segment.”
Built in the U.S., the A300 Ultima features a 7x7mm stepped rib with mid bead. The shotgun utilizes Beretta thread pitch and a fiber-optic housing with large, 4mm fiber-optic front sight. An oversized loading port and low-profile receiver adds appeal. Meanwhile, a larger bolt handle and bolt release aid in manipulation.
The news here comes in the form of a quality, classically-designed Beretta shotgun. A gas gun design, the line incorporates features modern shooters and hunters demand. With oversized controls and an enlarged loading port, the A300 Ultima could serve well as either a hunting or competition model to build upon. Priced well under $1,000, it presents a rare opportunity to run a Beretta at a competitive price.
The A300 Ultima comes in 12 and 20 gauge. Finishes include Black Synthetic, Realtree MAX-5, and Mossy Oak Bottomland. Retail prices range from $799 to $899. For even more info, please visit beretta.com.
