Beretta Develops the APX A1 Tactical with Special Forces Help

Building off the popularity of the APX A1 family of pistols, Beretta releases the new APX A1 Tactical. Working in collaboration with Special Forces units, the company packed the new APX A1 with premium features. As a result, comes a pistol that offers peak performance and durability. Not to mention optics and suppressor compatibility.

The Beretta APX A1 Tactical Pistol

Featuring a full-size frame, the APX A1 Tactical comes in two tone Olive Drab and Black. Offering the same excellent ergonomics as the APX series, the A1 Tactical features an extended beavertail grip. This helps eliminate the potential for slide bite while providing a secure purchase of the pistol.

Likewise, interchangeable backstraps allow shooters to dial in the feel, while a higher undercut trigger guard gives ample room for the middle finger. An ambidextrous slide release and reversible mag release offer seamless operation for both right- and left-handed shooters. Just forward the serrated combat trigger guard is a three-slot Picatinny rail for attaching lights or other accessories.

Riding atop the frame is an optic-ready slide with aggressive forward and rear cocking serrations. The slide carries blacked-out suppressor height sights for co-witnessing with the optic of your choice. Correspondingly, the sights offer a 6.3-inch sight radius for increased accuracy.

Housed within the slide is a 4.8-inch ½”-28 threaded barrel for use with suppressors or other muzzle devices. Chambered in 9mm, rounds are sent downrange via an enhanced trigger pull and profile coupled with striker-fired action. The APX A1 Tactical is fed by the three included 21-round magazines.
