Beretta came into this year’s SHOT Show swinging with three new firearms in the defensive space. Included in the new offerings are two concealed carry pistol options and a patrol shotgun, also perfect for home defense. All three new firearms exemplify the kind of quality and innovation you would come to expect from Beretta.
Beretta Unveils Three New Firearms
80X Cheetah .380 Pistol
Featuring a sleek new design and enhanced features, the 80X Cheetah reimagines the legendary platform. With a focus on modern concealed carry, the 80X Cheetah includes a smaller Vertec-style grip for enhanced ergonomics. Likewise, a 13+1 round capacity ensures that you have ample rounds for a defensive scenario.
Chambered in .380, the 80X Cheetah features a skeletonized hammer and utilizes the X-treme double/single action trigger. The easier-to-rack slide also includes an optic cut so you can mount the optic of your choice. However, regardless of what optic you choose, you will need a mounting plate. Additionally, a tuned slide weight and spring rates help reduce felt recoil while firing.
MSRP: $799.00
92XI 9mm Pistol
Carrying forward the Vertec style frame, the 92XI now features the long-awaited frame-mounted safety. Likewise, the safety works with the ergonomics of the frame and offers ambidextrous access. With a larger frame than the 80X Cheetah, the 92XI offers a solution for both concealed carry and competitive shooting.
Featuring the X-treme-S flat-faced trigger and a lightweight skeletonized hammer, the 92XI is available in single action only. Chambered in 9mm, the pistol is available with a 10-, 15-, or 18-round magazine. The slide features a fiber optic front sight coupled with a fully serrated black rear sight. However, for those who prefer optics, it comes ready for MRDS optics mounting.
MSRP: $949.00
A300 Ultima Patrol Shotgun
Incorporating the classic mechanisms of the A300 platform, the Ultima takes it a step further with enhanced features. For example, the Ultima takes advantage of enlarged controls for easier manipulation, even under duress. Likewise, an enlarged loading port allows for faster loading/reloading during a dynamic engagement.
Additionally, aggressive texturing in key areas on the forend ensures control and comfort while shooting. Similarly, a shortened compact stock with a 13-inch length-of-pull helps with gun handling and maneuverability in confined spaces.
The shotgun includes multiple accessory mounts, such as an installed 7-slot Picatinny rail, 3 M-Lok mounting points, and 3 QD sling mounting points. Likewise, it is also compatible with Beretta 1301 Tactical after-market rail and optic mount accessories. Chambered in 12 gauge, the Ultima includes a capacity of 7+1.
MSRP: $1,099.00
