Building on the Beretta Vertec frame the aggressively textured Vertec-style thin grips provide instinctive control. As a result of the vertical back-strap, target acquisition is as natural as pointing at the target with your index finger. Also, the thin grips allow for a comfortable purchase of the M9A4, even with a double-stack, high-capacity magazine.

In light of its combative intent, the magazine well includes a generous bevel for quick magazine insertion, even under duress. Furthermore, the M9A4 is available for 10, 15 or 18 round magazines. In addition, the magazine is ejected via the oversized magazine-release button that can be actuated under pressure, with or without gloves.

The Xtreme Trigger System provides an enhanced short reset for faster round delivery. When you are done sending rounds downrange, and are ready to transport, the universal decock-only (G) slide resets the hammer. What is more, the slide features cut outs to allow for mounting optic plate styles. As a result, with plates available for all of the most popular optic variants on the market today, the choice is yours.

The wear-resistant FDE finish is practically impervious to the elements and keeps the M9A4 low-maintenance. When it is time to perform routine cleaning and maintenance, the tool-free disassembly makes it easy.
