https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGrLabJkAq0

The Wilson Combat/Beretta partnership now extends from last year’s hit, the full-sized 92G Brigadier Tactical, to the new 92G Compact Carry, which offers a slim, traditional-configuration dust cover and slide, as well as an Ernest Langdon-inspired action tune completed by the Langdon-trained staff at Wilson Combat.

A large U-notch rear Wilson Combat Battlesight mates with a conventional front dot sight for fast, effective target acquisition.

The 92G Compact Carry has been optimized by Wilson Combat for concealed carry. The gun is a little lighter than its full-sized brother. The Compact Carry offers service-pistol-like handling and reliable X-ring 25-yard accuracy, all in an easily concealed, short-butt, 9mm package offering 13+1 capacity.

The pistol features traditional double-action/single-action operation with ambidextrous slide levers (decock only). The double-action pull has been set to approximately 9 pounds, while the single-action pull registers around 4 pounds. Distinctive G10 grips, which feature the Wilson Combat logo, offer a solid, slip-free grasp with an eye-catching aesthetic.

We tested a pre-introduction prototype of the 92G Compact Carry (yours will come with a distinctive “WC” prefix serial number) for weeks, passing it around to our training staff and advanced students. I also shot it extensively himself. As expected, the Wilson Combat/Beretta 92G Compact Carry functioned flawlessly with all the ammo we fed it, and it made itself a lot of new friends along the way. I can tell you this, I’ve already sent in my check so I can keep my test gun.

Check out the video to witness the 92G Compact Carry’s mild recoil, compact dimensions and head-box accuracy in action, and be sure to look out for a full test of the pistol in an upcoming issue of COMBAT HANDGUNS magazine. To subscribe, visit PersonalDefenseWorld.com.
