Following up on the success of the company’s first polymer-framed pistol, Bersa is now selling its BP380CC design. Chambered in .380 ACP, this everyday-carry gun is the same size as the company’s original 9mm pistol. This translates into an optimal self-defense gun that is very easy to shoot with minimal recoil, which is important for smaller-statured shooters or those with recoil sensitivity.
The Bersa BP380CC is a handgun specifically designed for concealed carry. At only 0.94 inches wide, the pistol is less than an inch thick and weighs less than 22 ounces unloaded. Even though it is relatively compact, the gun still offers an 8+1 capacity and has a polymer grip that’s large enough to fit the operator’s entire hand on during use.
Bersa uses a 3.3-inch barrel in this pistol, and the company also provides two magazines with each shipment. The magazine release is ambidextrous. The gun also features a tactical accessory rail for the addition of a light or a laser aiming device.

Three-dot sights are standard on this new .380 ACP pistol. The front is an interchangeable Sig Sauer #8 sight, while the rear sight is an interchangeable Glock-style unit. Bersa uses a short reset, double-action-only (DAO) trigger in the BP380CC. The trigger pull is light with an obvious reset. Set into the right side of the slide is an internal lock that can be used to disable the gun when it is stored.
For concealed-carriers who want an easy to use, lightweight, light-recoiling pistol that’s easily concealed, then the Bersa BP 380CC is worth a look. The pistol is available in matte black and duo-tone finishes.
