In a recent CNN townhall President Biden revealed what Americans have been fearing for some time, a pistol ban. Although Democrats have been insisting that they have no intentions of taking American’s guns, Biden single handedly dismantled their argument.

Biden Admits a Pistol Ban

During the townhall an audience member asked a nodding Biden, “So, gun violence has been on the rise across the country and as a recent student and young professional living in Over-the-Rhine I’ve seen this firsthand. Um, gun violence has taken the lives of so many young students and young people. I’m tired and I want to see change that’s going to make our cities like Cincinnati safer. So, how will you address gun violence from a federal point of view, to actually bring about change and make our local cities safer?”

Biden replied in short order, “I’m the only guy that ever got — passed legislation when I was a senator to make sure we eliminated assault weapons. The idea you need a weapon that can have the ability to fire 20, 30, 40, 50, 120 shots from that weapon, whether it’s a, whether it’s a 9mm pistol or whether it’s a rifle, is ridiculous.”

Although his initial response seemed like hyperbolic pandering, it was the next part that his handlers might not have anticipated. Biden went on to say, “I’m continuing to push to eliminate the sale of those things, but I’m not likely to get that done in the near term.”

Whether it was intentional, or he was just excited about the perfect setup, President Biden’s answer caused an internet firestorm. With the recent, rampant censorship eroding our first amendment, citizens are already hyper vigilant of their rights. This latest revelation now has many wondering if he is completely dismantling our Constitution.

This Will Not Go Unnoticed

After this revelation the CCRKBA (Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms) says enough is enough.

“It’s taken Joe Biden six short months to foul up the economy, reverse this country’s energy independence causing fuel prices to soar, declare war on free speech and now he has acknowledged in a Freudian slip he really does want to ban handguns,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb. “The real Joe Biden is finally out of the bag, despite the media’s continued efforts to soft-peddle his extremism.”

As expected, the media and White House are in overdrive, attempting to put the genie back in the bottle. However, unfortunately for them CNN broadcast the entire event live. No amount of damage control will make the American people forget what they heard with their own ears.

“Joe Biden’s spinmeisters in the White House and the establishment media will not be able to walk this back,” Gottlieb said. “That horse has left the barn and no amount of clarification or obfuscation is going to clean up his mess. Biden’s only mistake was that he accidentally told the truth about his intentions, and CNN broadcast it live. By his own words, he has confirmed everything we have warned about for months.”
