Florida-based Black Aces Tactical has released a quad rail and side shell holder combo designed specifically for that non-NFA pump-action “firearm” you know and love, the Mossberg Shockwave.

Both the 1913 Picatinny quad rail and backplate of the shell holder are MIL 8625 Type 2 anodized and made of 6061 T6 aluminum. The quad rail weighs in at just 10 ounces and measures 20.5 inches in length. All the tools you need install it are included. Meanwhile, the ATI shell holder portion has a five-shell capacity.
“The Mossberg Shockwave has been nothing short of a phenomenon. Given the massive success of the Shockwave, it is only natural that we develop a quality accessory rail that compliments the design and function of the platform. But not being satisfied, we have also added in a 5 shot shell holder that is designed to work with the quad rail. We feel that this is the perfect addition to an already wildly popular chassis,” said Eric Lemoine, the founder and CEO of Black Aces Tactical.
Touted as offering enhanced flexibility for the shooter when running the Mossberg Shockwave, the Black Aces quad rail and side shell holder combo is available at a retail price of $214. The company says it’ll start shipping this kit out on October 15, with an initial production run of just 200. In other words, you’d better hurry if you want one.
Released earlier this year, the 12-gauge Mossberg Shockwave features a 14-inch barrel and an overall length of 26.5 inches. Classified as a “non-NFA firearm,” it doesn’t require a tax stamp. It also sports non-binding twin action bars; positive steel-to-steel lock-up; an anti-jam elevator; dual extractors; and Mossberg’s ambidextrous top-mounted safety. Also included is a bead sight and a Raptor grip designed by Shockwave Technologies, hence the name. The MSRP on the 6-shot Mossberg Shockwave is $455.
