Missouri-based firearms and accessories manufacturer Black Dawn Industries has released its Multi-Mount Rail system, new for 2014.
The Rails — which are CNC machined from 6601 aluminum forgings — are one piece free float forend with Black Dawn’s patented barrel nut adapter system. The rails come in 3 different length and model numbers: MMR-M (Midlength), MMR-R (Riflelength) and MMR-L ( 15″ long). The Rail systems currently have a rail at the 12 o’clock position and have points for rail attachments at the 45 degree and 90 degree angles. Designed for use with a low profile gas block, the multi-mount rails accept Magpul MOE rail sections. These rails are currently available in three different colors: Black, Flat Dark Earth, and OD Green. In addition, they boast laser engraved T-markings and a Mil-Spec 8625 hardcoat anodized finish.
