A generation ago, an optic on a battle rifle was uncommon.
As optic technology evolved to produce rugged, dependable and consistent glass, the AR platform has benefited tremendously. This has helped make an AR in either a carbine or rifle configuration more effective up close though the use of red dots and reflex sights.
With compact, low-power scopes, close- to mid-range shooting is fast and accurate. At distance, optics can help squeeze out all of your AR’s performance potential.
