The Anaheim Ducks took their “Military Appreciation Night” to a whole new level Sunday night, and it was pretty epic.

Nero dropped the ceremonial puck with ease between Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf and Calgary Flames captain Mark Giordano.
Joining Nero on the ice were members of the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command, U.S Special Forces Soldiers from Special Operations Detachment North, and the 128th Quartermaster Rigger Support Team, along with Ducks owners, Henry and Susan Samueli.
