Breitling has expanded their popular line of Avenger watches with the introduction of the Avenger Blackbird. Designed to withstand the most extreme mission conditions, the Breitling Avenger Blackbird boasts an easily readable dial, an all-black look, and a light, sturdy case which has a 48mm diameter and a slim, ergonomic profile. The Breitling Avenger Blackbird is comfortable on the wrist due to the light feel of the titanium and the military-style fabric strap, the press release states. Glare on the watch is reduced, thanks to the ultra-resistant carbon-based treatment. The watch hands and hour markers are oversized, ensuring optimal legibility in a variety of different circumstances, including darkness, as a result of luminescent coating against the black background. This watch also has a large screw-locked crown with a non-slip grip which guarantees optimum functionality. In addition, it has protective guards and a water resistance of up to 300 meters (1,000 ft).
With a unidirectional ratcheted rotating bezel, and a self-winding movement chronometer-certified by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres (COSC) — the organization which certifies the precision and reliability of wristwatches — the Avenger Blackbird by Breitling combines power and finesse into one unique, technically sophisticated style.
