Brownells Glock Gen4 Slides Provide Front and Rear Serrations

While Glock recently introduced front slide serrations with the Glock 45, earlier versions still only come with rear serrations. However, those wanting to upgrade can now purchase Brownells Glock Gen4 slides with front serrations.

Available for Glock Gen4 17 and 19 handguns, the Brownells Glock Gen4 slides look different from standard slides. However, all internal dimensions are the same. As such, all factory and aftermarket components fit on the Brownells slides. This includes sights.

Brownells machines serrations across the top and sides of the slides, providing more purchase for engagement when racking the slide. They are also machined from 17-4 stainless steel and feature a nitride finish to protect against corrosion and wear. They are even available with a window cutout along the top of the slide to reduce weight and enhance barrel cooling.

Additionally, users can opt for a slide with a RMR cut for adding the Trijicon RMR red-dot sight, which provides for even faster target acquisition.
