Browning AB3 & X-Bolt Eclipse Hunter

Since the introduction of its BBR and A-Bolt, Browning has hung its hat on these slick, three-lug bolt mechanisms with 60-degree lifts. The X-Bolt, now three years old, features a clever rotary magazine. New for 2014: the X-Bolt Eclipse Hunter, which features a laminated gray thumbhole stock. It comes in a wide variety of standard and magnum chambering. Also fresh in the line is Browning’s AB3, a synthetic-stocked, entry-level rifle. Available in .270 and .30-06 with a 22-inch barrel, and 7mm Remington and .300 Winchester Magnum with a 26-inch tube, the AB3 has a detachable box magazine, a bolt-lock override and other features of the A-Bolt. It weighs between 6.75 to 7.25 pounds. For more information, visit browning.com.
