Browning Adds Five New Models to Black Label 1911-380 Line

Browning’s line of Black Label 1911-380 handguns just got a little bigger, with five new models on tap for 2017.

First up is the Black Label 1911-380 Medallion Pro. Available in full size and compact versions, this pistol features an aluminum-reinforced composite frame and slide, as well as a blackened stainless steel finish with silver brush polished flats. The grip is checkered rosewood and includes a gold Buckmark logo. The full size model features a 4-1/4-inch barrel, while the barrel on the compact version measures 3-5/8 inches. Both come with steel 3-dot sights or steel night sights and ship with two magazines. MSRP for the 3-dot sight version of both models is $799.99, while the night sight variant retails for $879.99.

Three other compact models are now being offered in the Black Label 1911-380 line: the Black Label 1911-380 Compact, Black Label Pro Compact and Black Label Pro Compact with Rail.

The Black Label 1911-380 Compact includes the same features as the full-size Black Label 1911-380, but with a shorter, 3-5/8 inch barrel. It has a machined steel slide, target crown, fixed combat sights, eight round magazine, extended ambidextrous manual safety and skeletonized hammer. MSRP for this model is $669.99.

Meanwhile, the Black Label Pro Compact sports a 3-5/8-inch barrel, composite frame, textured G-10 grips, and skeletonized controls. It’s available with either 3-dot sights or steel night sights. MSRP for the 3-dot model is $799.99 and $879.99 for the night sight version.

Finally, the Black Label Pro Compact with Rail includes G-10 side-slab grips, an extended beavertail safety, steel three-dot combat sights or night sights, an ambidextrous extended frame safety, a skeletonized trigger and bobbed hammer and textured front and back straps. The barrel length for this model is also 3-5/8″. MSRP for the 3-dot sight version is $829.99, while the railed night sight model has a MSRP of $909.99.
