The beauty of the 1911-380 comes in its design. Masterfully scaled at 85-percent of the iconic War Horse, the 1911-380 comes ready for plinking or carry. It features a corrosion-resistant stainless steel slide and matte black composite frame. The frame comes with a machined 7075 aluminum subframe and slide rails. Inside, a rust-resistant barrel measures 3 5/8 inches (compact) or 4 1/4 inches (full size). A Picatinny rail option comes on both models, for attaching lights and/or lasers.
The new model sports an impressive set of grips. The rosewood-colored grips come emblazoned with a distressed U.S. flag design. This pistol should look good in the holster. Better still, it provides a secure gripping surface for presenting the pistol. The 1911-380 ships with two, eight-round steel magazines and an ABS carry case.
