Browning Expands Citori 725 Line with New Trap & Skeet Shotguns

Browning has expanded their line of Citori 725 over/under shotguns with the addition of Trap and Skeet models in 12 gauge.

The Trap and Skeet versions will be available in standard stock and adjustable comb models, the press release states. Similar to previously released Citori 725 models, these new shotguns come with Browning’s Fire Lite Mechanical Trigger System and full-width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt receiver design. In an effort to reduce felt recoil, make second shots faster and increase accuracy, Browning has equipped the Trap and Skeet Citori 725 shotguns with the Inflex recoil pad, which directs recoil down and away from the shooter’s face.

According to the press release, the new Citori 725 Trap and Skeet shotguns have Back Bored Technology barrels with Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones and the new Invector-DS choke tube system which provide tight, consistent shot patterns. Each model uses Grade III/IV walnut for the stock. The Trap model has a gloss finish and the Skeet has a gloss varnish finish. Both have a close radius pistol grip and a semi-beaver tail forearm with finger grips.

The Citori 725 Trap is available with 30” and 32” barrel lengths. The Suggested Retail is $3,339.00 – $3,739.99. The Citori 725 Skeet comes in 28” and 30” barrel lengths. The MSPR is $3,139.99 – $3,529.99.
