Browning, the legendary manufacturer of firearms, knives, gear and accessories, has expanded their line of Black Label Tactical Blades with the introduction of three new knives: the Rail System Knife, Committed Drop-Point Knife and the Battle Bowie Carbon Fiber Knife. Each of these comes with features which will appeal to tactical knife users.

According to the press release, the Rail System Knife has a fixed, double-edged 5 1/2” hollow ground blade knife made from 5Cr stainless steel with full-tang handle construction. It also comes with a Blade-Tech molded polymer sheath, which attaches to a MIL-STD 1913 accessory rail. The sheath has been designed by Kelly Van Orden of Battle Blades. The manufacturer suggested retail price is $86.

The Committed Drop Point knife has a 5 3/8″ hollow ground fixed blade which is made from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a partially serrated edge. As the press release points out, the handle boasts a full-tang construction (similar to the Rail System Knife) with textured olive drab G-10 scales and lanyard hole. This knife comes with a Blade-Tech molded polymer sheath and a Tek-Lok belt clip which is adjustable for carry angle and held width. The manufacturer suggested retail price is $86.

The press release states that the tactical fixed blade Battle Bowie Carbon Fiber Knife has an “8” Bowie design that is hollow ground and made of 5Cr stainless steel with a laser etched finish.” The full-tang handle has black carbon fiber scales. Similar to the Committed Drop Point Knife, the sheath is Blade-Tech molded polymer with a Tek-Lok belt clip. Only 100 units of these knives will be manufactured. MSRP is $183.
