Optics company Bullseye Camera Systems has announced the official release of the iOS application for their line of products. The app is available right now as a direct download through the App Store.

With the new iOS app, shooters now have the ability to view their shots directly from their iPhone or iPad. In addition, the app enables users to zoom and pan to utilize multiple targets, as well as review shots and share target images via text and services like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. In a press release, the company said that advanced iOS features are forthcoming, and software updates will be free of charge.

“We are proud to be the first software-supported target camera system to offer a native iOS application,” said Nick Skrepetos, founder of Bullseye Camera Systems. “We have many more innovations planned for 2014, along with native applications for Android and Mac OSX.”

The 1000-yard Long Range Edition from Bullseye Camera Systems includes a weatherproof camera with night vision, a 5-hour rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a charger, Bullseye Target Manager Software, router, booster, antenna, tripod and connecters, all of which come in a foam-lined carrying case.

The Bullseye Target Manager enables the shooter to view the previous shot blinking on the screen, shot individually or in groups, from the firing position. It also develops a shooter profile based on firearm, ammunition and hand-loading data. It also measures shot groups. All of this data is stored with each individual shot and can be viewed at any time.
