New for 2014, Battenfeld Technologies has officially announced the release of their highly-anticipated new Caldwell AR-15 Mag Charger, creating a unique new method for loading ammunition into AR-15 magazines.
The new AR-15 mag charger from Caldwell and Battenfeld was designed to accept 50 loaded rounds from any 50-round ammunition manufacturer box, as well as 50-round plastic storage boxes. The end user can use this product through a series of simple and easy steps. First, the bullet tips have to be aligned before the box of ammo can be dumped into the mag charger. No round need be touched in order to accomplish alignment. Second, insert the AR magazine into the mag charger, as one would do on any rifle. Third, the plunger must be accentuated back and forth. Five rounds will be loaded per stroke as the ammo carrier advances aligning the next five rounds until the magazine is fully loaded. It takes less than 15 seconds to fill the mag charger with ammo and load 50 rounds into two magazines, thereby creating maximum efficiency.
In addition, this new product for 2014 comes with an ammo transfer tray, which enables the ammunition in boxes and the bullet tips to be inverted and pointed downward when being bulk placed into the mag charger. The Caldwell AR-15 mag charger from Battenfeld Technologies — made from tough, durable Polycarbonate — is compatible with .223, 5.56 and .204 ammunition. Suggested retail price for this brand new item is $89.99.
