Home Invasion: Fighting Back
Moments later, the woman emerges from her bedroom. She opens fire with her own gun, shooting at the suspects while all three flee the home.
The woman can then be seen being consoled by a housemate, who takes her gun away as she dials 911.
One of the intruders was shot by the woman and died in the driveway. The other two suspects are still on the loose, but police are hopeful to make an arrest soon, especially since their faces are clearly visible in the surveillance footage.
“It’s not common that we receive this caliber of surveillance video showing the crime unfold, an actual home invasion,” said Cpl. Deon Washington of the Gwinnett County Police Department.
