“The Romanian Draco Pistol imports have been infrequent due to Military and Government contracts at the Cugir factory,” said Jason Karvois, Century Arms’ Director of Sales. “Due to the popularity of the Draco pistol, and overwhelming demand, Century Arms has started to manufacture the Draco pistols at our Vermont factory to be able to consistently offer them to the U.S. market.”
Chambered in 7.62x39mm and based on the AK47 rifle design you know and love, the Century Arms Draco features a 10.5-inch barrel and weighs in at 6.3 pounds. It has an overall length of 19.5 inches and comes with a maple wood handguard, standard AKM sights and accepts any AK47 magazine or drum. Like we mentioned up top, it’s 100 percent made in the U.S.A.
The Draco offers rifle firepower in a small package, and it gets the job done in a variety of different scenarios, including close-quarters confrontations, as a trunk gun or a tool for some fun at the range.
Now shipping to dealers across the country, the U.S.-made Century Arms Draco AK47 pistol is available at a suggested retail price of $749.99.
