Christensen Arms A4 & A5 Aluminum-Frame 1911s: New for 2017

Christensen Arms make quality 1911 handguns, and it looks like that tradition will continue in the new year with the introduction of the Christensen Arms A4 (four-inch barrel) and A5 (five-inch barrel) aluminum-framed 1911s at SHOT Show 2017.

Currently available only in 9mm, the Christensen Arms A4 and A5 frame is machined from lightweight 7075 billet aluminum and assembled using only premium components such as a tunable match-grade trigger, the press release says. Both feature a flat-top, billet stainless steel slide hand fit to guarantee a smooth and accurate handgun. Indeed, it’s capable of achieving a 5-shot, 2-inch group at 25 yards. Other features include raised night sights; G10 grips; beavertail grip safety; checked frontstrap and mainspring housing; and more.

“We are please to expand our 1911 product offerings with the new A4 and A5. They represent the peak in 1911 technology and performance in a lightweight, aluminum frame,” said Jason Christensen, President of Christensen Arms.

The Christensen Arms A4 and A5 aluminum-framed 1911s will be available at a suggested retail price of $1,995.
