The main feature the Utah-based company hypes in the press release for the Modern Precision Rifle is its proprietary chassis, which is machined from 7075 billet aluminum and features V-block bedding to boost accuracy. Other features of note are an adjustable folding stock with a locking hinge; oversized fluted bolt knob; and a black nitride-coated bolt, receiver and muzzle brake. The rifle also sports an 416R stainless steel aerograde carbon fiber barrel; free-floating handguard; and adjustable comb.
Boasting a sub-MOA guarantee, the rifle is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Win. The available barrel lengths for 6.5 Creedmoor are 22 and 26 inches, while the .308 Win model comes with 16, 20 and 24-inch barrels. The company says additional calibers, including long-action offerings, will roll out in 2018.
The rifle is due out within the next six to eight weeks. The MSRP is $2,295.
