Sergeant Major Kyle E. Lamb (retired), spent more than 21 years with the United States Army, more than 15 years of which were with the U.S. Army Special Forces. Lamb has conducted combat operations in numerous theatres of operation, including Mogadishu, Somalia (part of the “Black Hawk Down” incident), and has served numerous tours in Iraq and Bosnia. He’s now the founder and president of Viking Tactics (VTAC), known for its highly professional training courses. Now VTAC has partnered with Christensen Arms to offer a super-enhanced AR for shooters who want the best performance available.

The new VTAC rifle, built with specifications from Kyle Lamb, features matte black upper and lower receivers, both of which have a sleek, slim, snag-free design for fast handling characteristics. The upper is equipped with either a steel or carbon-fiber-wrapped, 16-inch barrel featuring a unique standoff muzzle device. Surrounding the barrel is Christensen Arms’ sleek carbon-fiber handguard, which features a long top Picatinny rail for mounting sights and optics that mates up seamlessly with the flattop rail of the upper receiver, and the remaining sides of the octagonal handguard have KeyMod slots for attaching accessories such as lights, lasers, grips and bipods.
