The owner of a Houston gun store federally licensed to sell machine guns shot and killed a burglar trying to break into his business Tuesday morning.
According to Click2Houston.com, the incident occurred around 2 a.m. at Class 3 Weapons located in the 6200 block of North Shepherd Drive. The owner, 52-year-old John Kleiber, was sleeping at his store — it had been burglarized several times before — when he was awoken by multiple people attempting to break in.

Two other suspects immediately fled the scene and are still at large.
As the Houston Chronicles notes, Class 3 Weapons is approved by the federal government to sell National Firearms Act weapons, including machine guns, short barreled rifles, shotguns, and silencers.
