Cobalt Goes Back to Rifles, Releases BAMF Pro Series Rifles & Pistols

Cobalt Kinetics announced the release of a new line of rifles and pistols Tuesday. The Cobalt BAMF Pro Series takes features and components from previous ground-breaking variants, comprising a professional-grade platform.

Cobalt BAMF Pro Series Details

Last year, we reported a big change for Cobalt when the company announced discontinuing civilian rifle sales. Instead, the company pivoted toward the 1911 market. But in July of this year, new ownership acquired the brand. Now Cobalt appears headed back to its original focus that garnered the company so much praise.

The BAMF Pro Series utilizes much of the same technology and engineering from the original BAMF. It takes the original’s 1.4-pound weight reduction and high tolerances.

The BAMF Pro Series comes in both pistol (6.5-inch premium barrel) and two rifle lengths (Mid-Length, 12.3-inch barrel; Rifle, 16-inch premium barrel). All receivers and handguards also feature 7075 aluminum. The BAMF Pro Series comes in Armor Black, Flat Dark Earth, Cobalt Kinetics Green or Stainless finishes. All models retail for $2,700.
