Colt recently announced the newest addition to the “snake” family of revolvers, the King Cobra Target. The revolver, chambered in .357 Magnum, featuring adjustable sights and other notable upgrades, answers immense customer demand, according to Colt.
The release of the target model continues Colt’s recent resurgence and development of its snake family of revolvers. The new King Cobra features a 4.25-inch barrel, adjustable rear sight and elevated fiber-optic front sight. Meanwhile, custom wood medallion grips add to visual aesthetics. Colt engineered the platform to adapt the powerful .357 Magnum King Cobra to the competitive range. The revolver retails for $999.
Colt forges the revolver from American stainless steel, and it comes with a six-round capacity. The competition revolver marks the third model in the King Cobra Series. The company first reintroduced the King Cobra .357 in January, followed by the King Cobra Carry in May. Colt’s snake guns continue to garner a following, suitable for defense, target shooting and collecting.
“After releasing the King Cobra earlier this year we received a flood of requests for a 4-inch model with adjustable sights,” said Justin Baldini, Director of Marketing, Colt. “Our customers are excited to bring their Colts to the range and the King Cobra Target is engineered for accurate and enjoyable shooting. The longer barrel and custom wood grips also just look fantastic. We’ve precisely tweaked this revolver to get it exactly where we want it and know our customers will feel the difference.”
