WATCH: The Comp-Tac CT3 Level III Duty Holster Provides Quick Release

Sometimes life comes at you fast. However, if you are in law enforcement, life and death can come down to a matter of seconds. Although level III holsters are essential for officer and civilian safety, they also add additional time to the draw. For this reason, Comp-Tac releases the CT3 Level III Duty Holster with a quick release mechanism.

The Comp-Tac CT3 Level III Duty Holster

As the name indicates, the CT3 features three levels of retention. Specifically, the three levels are friction, ejection port lock and hood. However, where the CT3 differs is in a mechanism that allows the user to maintain the master grip while deactivating the three levels of retention. When pressed, the activation lever releases the hood but only releases the ejection port lock when held down.

The rugged construction of the CT3 ensures long life, in even the most rugged environments. Additionally, the CT3 is compatible with lights and optics and fits select models from CZ, Glock, SIG and Walther. The CT3 has a variety of mounting options available, ensuring the best carry options for each specific user. These carry options include drop offset, mid-ride belt, SQR (Secure Quick Release), PLM (Push-Button Locking Mount) and an adaptor plate for QLS system.
