Jesper Voxnaes’ first visit to CRKT proved fruitful with the design/release of his slim, lightweight EDC knife, the Piet. Today the Piet receives a facelift for an exclusive version, available in a blue colorway and D2 tool steel.
The CRKT Piet EDC Knife
The 2.69-inch drop point blade of the Piet features a satin finish and flat grind. The glass-reinforced nylon handle has received the blue colorway treatment, offering an exclusive finish. The D2 tool steel is an upgrade from the 8Cr13MoV of the original and provides greater wear resistance and toughness. This little EDC knife comes in at only 3.76 inches closed and features a deep-carry pocket clip, keeping it discreet. An oversize thumb hole deploys the blade, which locks firmly in place with a liner lock.
The slim, lightweight Piet makes for a perfect EDC knife for the city or a walk in the woods. Weighing at a measly 2.5 ounces the Piet won’t weigh down your pant pocket, even in lightweight shorts. With a blade length of 2.69 inches and overall length of 6.44 inches, the Piet is legal in most jurisdictions. Make sure to check your local laws and ordinances before carrying.
The CRKT Piet Blue EDC knife is available now with an MSRP of $54.99. For more info, please visit CRKT.com.
